Chrome guard is a thermal barrier pipe lining product intended to deter heat discoloration on chrome exhaust pipes. It is sold in powdered form and must be mixed with water before being applied. It is water soluble and non-toxic. cycle Shack does not recommend use of Chrome Guard in pipes with fiberglass baffles. Due to varying engine conditions such as improper spark plug heat range, detonation from low-octane fuel, modified camshaft timing, etc. Cycle Shack cannot guarantee that chrome discoloration will be completely eliminated. As such, no warranty against elimination of heat discoloration is expressed or implied. One jar contains enough material to treat one set of pipes. Sold each.
